Hi! We're Steph & Paddy. Thanks so much for visiting our little corner of the internet :)

We've been creating silver jewellery together since 2011, under the name of FizzCat. Fizzy Stitches started as a side quest, an unusual order from a yarn shop that was looking for fiber tools made out of silver.

After our initial surprise we realised that whilst there are so many beautiful knits, the knitting world is just full of throwaway tools that look terrible, don't last and just don't work properly. So we set out to change that, and now Fizzy Stitches is a whole thing!

Steph is now knitting obsessed. As a keen fiber crafter already, she leapt to the challenge - while learning to knit - and with our seasoned experience as silversmiths we produced our first collection of luxury knitting accessories in 2019. 

We moved from the UK in 2020, to central Portugal, where we hand make all our pieces in our home studio, watched over (and judged) by our two cats, Fizz and Lucky.

As crafters we know the immense satisfaction of making something with our own hands, and how the best tools make the journey even more enjoyable. The result is more beautiful too! So we hand make these fabulous, functional, giftable tools,
to help you on your lifelong crafting journey.

Most items in the shop are made to order, so we can always make them in custom sizes and materials. If you need something a bit different, just ask!
